Blood tests have been used as a tool for measuring health for a long time. However, they have been used primarily as a means for diagnosing disease. The disease diagnosis method of analysis is referred to as Pathological Analysis.
Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, in contrast, analyzes the same blood tests for sub-clinical markers – numbers that fall outside of optimal, healthy, “functional” ranges, but have not yet reached the ranges manifesting as “pathological” disease states. Using in-depth knowledge of human physiology and how various systems of the body work together, we evaluate both individual markers and patterns between them – assessing imbalances in your body’s metabolism, major bodily functions, and how your different body systems are influencing one another. This allows us to assess and address risk for disease before disease develops.
At The Wellness Place, we believe “health” is not just as the absence of disease or symptoms, but a state of optimal energy and physiological function.
Using Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, we can evaluate your:
Gastrointestinal and Digestive Health
Blood Sugar Regulation
Blood and Immune System Health
Liver and Gall Bladder Health
Toxicity and Inflammation
If you have a blood work report that is less than 3 months old, we can use that to determine your wellness if appropriate panels have been run. If not, we can order the proper test for you. Your test results will be analyzed and you will be provided with a detailed report of findings.
